1.  Attention is drawn to Rule 19, ie; starting times of matches.  Players should be ready to start at 6.30pm having already completed their knock up.

2.  Before starting a match, captains of both teams should mutually agree to the use of floodlights.

3.  Suitable footwear must be worn to avaid damage to courts.  No trainers.

4.  Footfaulting has become much more prevalent in recent years.  This gives the server an unfair advantage, and Club Officals and Coaches are asked to bring the footfault rule to the attention of all their players.

LTA Rules No. 8 (footfaulting):

The server shall throughout the delivery of the service:

  (i)  not change his positon by walking or running

  (ii) not touch with either foot any area other than that behind the base line
